Africa
The good part of watching television in the early hours in the morning is the fact that sometimes you get the oportunity to see incredible tv shows. I was watching a tv show which talked about a matter that really interests me. The show was about Africa, a continent which inspires me and that president Lula was right to say that it was devastated by European people for their wealth.
I fell a great tenderness and I care about Africa. I would love to contribute and to change the history of that place in a positive way. Back to the tv show, each little part of Africa contains it’s own history. These histories are of pain, blood and tears. Emmanuel is one of those people who I will admire today and I will reflect myself on him. He is a singer which childhood was marked for a stupid war. He was a soldier boy who had the luck, after so much suffering, of being saved by a blessed woman hand. A messenger of peace and harmony called Emma.
Emma died in a conflict while she was trying to run away. But her efforts and dedication will never be forgotten. Emma is a inspiring angel to me, sometimes it is nice to know that there are people like her over the earth. Emma got Emmanuel when he was still a liitle child. He had the lucky to survive a terrible war and she gave him love, dedication and support. He has a nice hit called "Gua" (you can listen to the song if you click over the name). He sings all the tragedy of those people through their childhood. He verbalizes in the poem of this beautiful song all the pain of a continent and their wishes!
There is one thing which really let me down: The hypocrisy! There are thousands of people outside saying that would like to help people, saying that love everyone but what do they really do in favor of others? People who have potential to help those who are in need but the vanity makes them to choose to change a car for a moto or to buy their 5th house and so on. They do this while millions of children around the world don´t have any least the oportunity to study or even a little bit of food. What do you really do in favor of humanity or are you of those who stay reading books and pretending that all is blue and you have a big heart when in the true you are selfish and you don´t really do anything in favor of others just lying saying that life is great while outside people are suffering with war, disease, prejudice and pain? Did they choose war? Did they choose to face prejudice? Are you of those who gives everyone good vibrations while you hate your job and envy a whole country?
Pay attention to one thing: All you must do, do it with passion, all without exception! One time you will realize that from somewhere raised a very good feeling inside you and it will be a motivation, a salvation... The feeling is called compassion! Use the classic examples like Jesus or Buddah which love was truly unconditional and unlimited and above all the compassion was their drive of day by day. Or you just take examples like Emma and Emmanuel.
Remember, someone will always leave a mark in your life although sometimes it´s not good... Please let the compassion raise inside you and help people anyway with open heart!
Help mainly the children!! Will always be a way of helping...with a song, a donation, one word... with care! Mark people´s life with good things never with bad things!!!
